Cryogenic woven mesh is a type of mesh that is specially designed to function at extremely low temperatures, such as those found in cryogenic applications. “Cryogenic” refers to temperatures below the freezing point of nitrogen (-196°C), which is used in, for example, space travel, aviation, defense, and medical applications.
Table of contents
The mesh is often made of stainless steel or other materials that are highly resistant to mechanical stress and the effects of such low temperatures. It is used in situations where durability, corrosion resistance, and stability at extremely low temperatures are essential, such as in cryogenic storage systems or as filter material in systems that handle cryogenic liquids.
The specific properties of cryogenic woven mesh include high tensile strength, flexibility, and resistance to extreme thermal fluctuations.
The mesh is designed to withstand extreme cold. It does not become brittle and is designed to maintain structural strength under vacuum conditions.
Material types
Stainless steel:AISI 304 (L), AISI 316 (L), AISI 321, AISI 347
