Smoothly woven

This is the simplest, most commonly used, and most recognizable method of weaving. The warp thread passes through the weft threads, alternating between above and below.
Twill weave

With this weaving method, for example, a weft thread passes successively through two warp threads above and below. This creates a finer weave with a thicker thread than smooth woven metal mesh. An important property of this mesh is its greater malleability, which makes it more suitable for certain applications than smooth woven mesh.
Twill woven with turn

A metal twill weave tends to warp. To prevent this, a so-called twist is made at a certain distance. This gives the mesh a herringbone pattern, which keeps the mesh flat and prevents it from warping.
Tressa mesh

In this weave, the weft threads lie against each other. It is produced in both plain weave and twill weave. The mesh size in this type of weave is referred to as retention. This retention is difficult to calculate because various factors, such as pressure and the shape of the particles to be sieved, play a significant role.
Follow-up treatment
Once the mesh has been woven, there are many possible post-treatments. Hot-dip galvanizing, rolling, electrolytic polishing, ultrasonic and alkaline cleaning, (UV-resistant) epoxy powder coating, and annealing are examples of possible post-treatments.
