Screen frames play a vital role in processes involving the filtering, separation or screening of materials. The woven mesh within the frame is constantly exposed to stress, contamination and wear. Over time, the mesh can become damaged or lose its original tension. This affects the performance and reliability of the screening process.
Royal Dinxperlo can re-mesh existing screen frames with woven stainless steel mesh. The mesh is precisely tensioned and securely attached to the frame. This allows an existing frame to be reused without the immediate need for a completely new component.
Re-meshing a sieve frame is precision work. The mesh must be tensioned evenly across the entire surface and remain in the correct position whilst being secured. Uneven tension can lead to deformation, localised wear or deviations during sieving and filtering.
In addition, the chosen mesh must be suited to the frame, the material to be processed and the conditions within the production process. Factors such as the mesh size, wire diameter, material type and desired tension are decisive for the ultimate performance of the screen frame.

Before Royal Dinxperlo stretches a screen frame, we assess which woven mesh and which design are best suited to the application. We then apply the mesh evenly across the frame. After that, we stretch it precisely to the required tension.
By carefully positioning the mesh, we create a flat and taut screening surface. This allows the material to distribute itself evenly across the frame. Furthermore, consistent tension contributes to a reliable screening or filtration process.
Once we have adjusted the mesh to the correct tension, we secure it firmly to the screen frame. Depending on the type of frame and the technical requirements of the application, we may use an adhesive bond for this.
During the bonding process, we ensure that the mesh does not shift. At the same time, we monitor the tension applied. This keeps the screen surface flat and taut. Furthermore, a carefully applied bond ensures that the mesh remains firmly in place. In this way, the screen frame can once again function reliably within the production process.
