Planning can be smarter. And more human. That’s why we’ve launched Planner 5.0!

Planner 5.0 is a forward-thinking project in which we are working with a strong group of partners to improve short-term planning. Through the smart use of data and AI, we gain greater control over day-to-day planning, disruptions can be dealt with more quickly, and collaboration between people and technology is strengthened. Technology processes data at lightning speed, identifies issues and offers advice, whilst our planners remain in control. AI is not just a trend, but a solution to real-world practical challenges.

  • We work together to define the digital vision and specific requirements
  • We optimise internal data collection and processing
  • We develop a smart, practical and usable AI planning assistant
  • We test and validate the assistant in day-to-day practice
  • We share knowledge and insights, so that the impact extends beyond this project

Planner 5.0 is being carried out in collaboration with Covadis, smart4factories, Bullit Digital, TwinX, SABA adhesives & sealants and Stanstechniek Gaanderen B.V. and runs from April 2025 to March 2028.

This project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and forms part of the ERDF East 2021–2027 programme.
